01-01-07, 12:36 PM My first Eberron campaign starts Saturday, and here are some miscelleanous questions that have popped up. These are probably stupid questions, but I've been unable to find a clear answer on them.

House Jorasco PC's

One of my players is a Halfling Druid who wants to be in House Jorasco. Since they take a vow to always charge for their services, how does this work when she is on an adventure and needs to heal? Does she just heal for free as normal, or what does the House think of such things?

Talenta Boomerangs

If a Talenta Boomerang hits, does it just fall where it hits and doesn't return, or does it return after the hit?

Artificers

-Can an Artificer cast multiple infusions on one item/construct? -Do bonuses from the same infusion stack?
-Is it possible for Artificers to creating curative scrolls or potions?

01-01-07, 01:00 PM For an adventuring Jorasco PC they are being paid for their services. An equal share of the loot.

When a boomerang hits it falls. Only if it misses does it fly back.

Yes artificers can cast multiple infusions on one item. I don't know if there's a limit to the number of them they can cast though.

Yes it's possible for artificers to emulate cleric spells and thus make wands, scrolls, and potions of Cure spells.

Does she just heal for free as normal, or what does the House think of such things?As far as I remember, the basic deal is that Jorasco requires it's workers to ask payment for healing to maintain house neutrality and to maintain it's strength by avoiding being undercut by itself.

As to your druid, he could get around it if he has left the house of his own will or been exoriated (ejected from the house, which in earlier times also involves stripping the physical mark from the exoriate's flesh) and thus be free to adventure on his own.

The alternative is that he should demand payment for his services in the form of either a fee for each spell cast (Make sure to bring your accountant) or a contract to ensure a basic guaranteed payment and/or a cut of the treasure.

If the druid uses house property for these activities (Jorasco hospitals, borrowed wands etc.) they should expect a cut of the profits. Even if he doesn't use anything they may ask the dragonmarked druid to compensate them for time spent away from other services.

-Yes
-No, bonuses of the same type do not stack, though you could, say, apply two different properties with non-overlapping abilities using rapidly infused versions of the Weapon Augmentation series
-Yes, in fact it can be even more useful for them to make potions and such since they can produce items below the CL minimum.
