FIRST!

*Plants the canadian flag.*

O Canada! Terre de nos aïeux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux!
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits.
Et ta valeur, de foi trempée,
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Eberron. In fact, it's the first published setting I'm really interested in. I also plan to integrate some Eberron material into the homebrew setting I'm building.

Does anyone else intend to mix and match stuff from Eberron with other settings (published or homebrew)? If so, what are you going to use?

I'm originally a Forgotten Realms player, so I think after I've played Eberron for a bit I'm going to slash the two together and see what happens. :schemes:

Edit: Of course, I have no idea how I'm going to do that yet, and it will probably be terrible, but... eh. I'll try anyway. And if it doesn't work, I still have my homebrew FR.... :D

Because of course the Forgotten Realms don't already have enough bloody gods. ;)

Personally, I'm going to be adding the shifters to my homebrew. In it, lycanthropes are fairly prominent, so shifters just make sense, and are frickin' cool to boot.

Aside from that, I'll have to wait and see. I'm sure at least a few monsters will make it into my world as well. Living spells look promising, for one.

I really like a lot of the concepts that Eberron introduces. The Warforged? MY players will see more of them in my upcoming homebrew world "slash" campaign.

I might seed other campaigns INto Eberron... but probably not the other way around.

The Mohj from Arcana Unearthed are sure to make an appearance. and I do like Magisters alot as well. Just to make wizards more... wizardy. I'd have to do something to sorcerers too, but I've never seen somebody even interested in one before so maybe I can just ignore them altogether. I think I'll turn Mohj into a 5 level prestige class though.

S&SS studios put out an Advanced Players Guide that has some wonderful optional rules in it. I will have to build a thread around that sooner or later.

Whoop. Lunch break is almost over.

Played and run most campaign settings and have a long running forgotten realms campaign on the go atm.. to which I have just incorporated the warforged as per the Dragon article on them into it.

Just took a little bit of creative melding with the history to have them as creations of the greatest Arch Wizard Ioulaum and that most vanished with him before the cataclysmic end to the Empire of Netheril.. though a few survived the fall and live as hermits on the fringe of society trying to learn their place in the world.

I will be encorporating many Eberronish elements into my Homebrew (whilst also running a Eberron campaign), things like Warforged, Changelings, Shifters etc.:D :D :D

The warforged are already firmly planted into my homebrew setting, the Forgotten Oriental Lancewalk. Then again, so are the Wizards of High Sorcery and Harpers. :D

Don't forget Red Wizards TWS... :D

Well I'll take Warforged for my own use as a new character race. I may use Living spells... :smirk:

Since nobody in our gaming group owns any of the 3.5 Core Rulebooks, we intend to use the base classes, races and character creation rules from d20 Modern and Urban Arcana supplemented by parts of the SRD...

Might not the city of Manifest from Ghostwalk find a home on some isolated shore of Eberron? How about in Argonessen? Not much revealed about that continent yet...

A troop of Warforged who were created by and used as an army by an Athasian Dragon-King... course they would need to be given the same psionic treatment as the other races for that setting.

From what I understand from the Dragon 319 article, all you'd need to do to give Warforged the "Dark Sun" treatment would be to give them the Hidden Talent feat from XPH, a +2 Stat Bonus (possibly STR or CON I would think), and a +1 LA.

Though I'm not sure about Argonnessen, because I get the sense that Argonnessen is a more wild continent. Perhaps Mainfest is a part of the Mournland, or it's tucked away in one of Khorvaire's many mountain ranges. With a few tweaks, it could even be a city in Aerenal where non-elves have settled, which has become taken on unusual necromantic qualities...

Exactly! I'm picturing a Manifest that is a more primal place - perhaps even a neolithic or early bronze age level of technology. The city is largely overlooked by the rest of the world - few even suspect the magnitude of the secret the city is literally sitting on top of.
