| spraint11-18-04, 03:52 PM | I was reveiwing the errata for the monsters manual and I noticed that they revamped the Deinonychus to a medium creature with a 5 ft face and the megaraptor to a large creature with a 10 ft face. Does this change the mount used by the halflings of the Telentia plains (the Carver) into a Megaraptor. Or would it be better to ignore this particular errata for an Eberron campaign? |

What do you know, the carver's NOT a deinonychus after all, it's a larger creature with similar stats. |

Page 202 in the Talenta Plains entry (second column, third full paragraph) mentions that the halflings use clawfoot and fastieth dinosaurs as mounts, both of which are in the back of the ECS and listed as medium creatures. This makes perfect sense to me, since halflings are small creatures; their mounts would be one size larger, that is, medium. Is there a reference to them using carvers that I'm overlooking? I thought the carvers and great carvers were big predators of the plains, which the halflings had not managed (or not tried) to domesticate. |
