I have restarted a old campaign up with some of my players and they are working on revamping their beloved char into newer models. I was wondering if anyone had brought in classes from other settings like Arcana Evolved and say Warlords of the Accordlands, cause I have some people looking to them for classes and if anyone knew of any imbalances, either way, or other issues that would arise from importing them into Eberron. Thanks in advance.

One of the guys in our game is playing a Magister. It's going pretty well, as we've incorporated the Magister into the Giant magic of ages-gone-by. It's added some nice touches. In addition he'll be performing the Mohj ritual within the next couple of sessions, and we're going to slowly evolve him into the Mohj by the time he hits sixth level. All in all, it's been relatively smooth, the only real problem being the lack of wizard - magister synergy (scrolls, wands, etc.). I don't know anything about the Warlords of the Accordlands, but, as I said, we've integrated some bits of the Arcana Unearthed stuff pretty seamlessly.

There's my :twocents: .

I've been tempted to try to put in either the Akashic or the Runethane, though I'm working on my own PC-quality sage class (it's HARD to make a non-combat class PC-balanced ...), so the Runethane is more likely. I'm considering dropping the Paladin because of the seemingly omnipresent problems (especially since Eberron lends itself very well to moral dilemmas and questionable ethics) they create, and using the Champion.

All the other classes are close enough to a regular D&D class (or overshadowed by them in some cases) that I don't see the point of the redundancy.
Greenbonds lose out to Druids.
Mage Blades are too similar to Duskblades and Battle Sorcerers for my taste.
Magisters are too much like Wizards.
Oathsworn are basically Monks.
The Ritual Warrior is similar to the Tome of Battle Martial Adepts.
The Totem Warrior seems a lot like a Barbarian/Fighter mix.
The Unfettered is a Rogue.
The Witch is pretty Sorcereresque.
