Do the souls of warforged come from nothingness, Dolurrh, or some other source ? What would the Blood of Vol give or the Emerald Claw do to recover a petrified or polymorphed member of the House of Vol ? Especially one rumoured to bear a dragonmark. How many days in the giants' calendar ? In the spirit of Jules Verne, can you fly to Eberron's moons ? or the Ring of Siberys ? Can you make an elemental powered submarine to threaten shipping, and if so, what undersea cultures will you have to contend with ? Has anyone ever reached the poles of Eberron ? |

My belief about the Mournland is that the souls are actually trapped in the Mournland, which is why none of the ghosts can obtain peace. Everyone goes to Dolurrh when they die, so people that are prevented from completing their death would be trapped on the Material Plane. I don't think people want to travel to the moons by flying there, simply because of the time it would take to go. It's alot easier to track down manifest zones and travel through portals instead of flying for years and years to find it. And even then, you still need to track the moon exactly to make sure you reach it and don't fly forever. The Ring of Siberys though, I can see. The possibility of a massive harvest of Siberys shards would be enough to attract most people, especially those of the House in the Shadow Marches (Mark of Finding, I'm blanking on the name right now, sorry.) Submarines would need to deal with mundane animals, as well as other submarines, and monstrosities like Krakens and Leviathans, possibly Scrags and other amphibious monsters as well. The Blood of Vol and the Emerald Claw would probably go to any length to recover a member of House Vol, especially one with the Mark of Death. Vol herself would probably get involved even, but the chance of finding a Vol that's still alive would be very low. Dragons are very thorough when they are trying to eradicate a race/family. |
