Raziel_Brokodar 04-06-05, 01:02 PM	Mariusz or Jarkko (haven't decided upon name) Elan Chaotic Neutral Psion Lv 4/Fighter Lv 1 Dicipline: Telepath 17+3 16+3 17+3 21+5 (ioun stone, grants +2 int... normally 19) 12+1 10+0 He uses a +2 intelligent Falchion of Concussion. He wears Living Breastplate which he stole during his escape from his creators. (creation into an elan that is...) He's going to take as many telepath levels as he can. I'm going to continue developing him, and I have no idea how to get my current character out, I don't want him to die and be replaced. He's a Tiefling Swashbuckler and maybe he could take a break from adventuring...? So this post just isn't about me :( , any of you people always make characters and wish you could play them..?
Altaris 04-06-05, 01:58 PM	That's an interesting character, but I'm not sure how this post has anything to do with Eberron. Tell us some more background info on him and the campaign you'll be playing him in. Personally, I like the name Jarkko. Dunno why, but it sounds kinda cool. I do have an issue with the gear though. How is it that a Lvl 5 PC can afford an itelligent sword and an ioun stone? Also, why bother going into fighter? Take the most levels of Psion you can to max out your powers known & power point potential.

I'm mostly going to limit him to just that sword... and only give him wands and stuff... I'm using him in Eberron..! it's posted in this forum isn't it! hah! :P Why take some in fighter? for armor use, weapon use and some feats to make him excel with his Falchion.... Maybe I'll stop at 4 (weapon specialization) or maybe I'm done at 2... ------- This character also allows me to add abberations and Quori into my campaign. Mind Flayers YAY!!!! hahaha.... Also the strange past of an Elan leads to people he's wronged in the past. He could bring with him further adventures and plots...
Raziel_Brokodar 04-06-05, 02:09 PM	Still don't know what to do with my swashbuckler... maybe he's settled into a simple life for awhile... maybe he's using his gold to live comfortably... he does make suicidal jump checks and risks his life more than other characters in my campaign... maybe he's had enough for the moment and wants to take a break... (damn, that's a LOT of maybe's haha) Any advice on this issue as well? :confused:

I dislike Psi warriors... especially their power choice and I prefer intelligence over wisdom for ability score. (when I said for armor proficiency, I don't mean heavy, he has Psionic Leap and prefers no AC check) I guess I prefer diciplines and mostly telepath... guess I prefer Psion as main class... anyway... :rolleyes:
Raziel_Brokodar 04-07-05, 09:16 PM	Update: I've gotten rid of the intelligent part of his Falchion of Collision, but I gave him Living Breastplate, since it has drawbacks... and since he wouldn't be using it all the time... Also I've removed one of his fighter levels and added another Telepath level, and gotten rid of most of his wands, (kept his wand of light). I lessened the number of healing potions since he's getting the body adjustment power at the next level. The living breastplate draws more plot developments with the character, he could have stolen it from the Daelkyr and/or some mindflayers. (since Daelkyr have 20 CR hah!)

A 5th level character stealing anything from eyther of these sources is very unlikely, mostly because they are all sealed away in the earth, and those rare fiew that arn't would be high level plot devices.

He'd have plenty of chances to steal from them (what with a second life and all, and he had to be "made" somewhere), or at least to earn them as enemies, if he didn't steal it from them maybe some Inspired. I'm gonna have both as enemies. :rolleyes: :P, and you don't know my adventuring party. Mindflayers are perfect for 5th level, CR's are supposed to be slightly higher, at least in Eberron. (Saber had CR 3) I made my PC's fight a Gauth beholder at level 3, I'm sure we could fight them. and OBVIOUSLY I'm not going to have mind flayers right away, I'd work up to that. That's what lackeys are for, and evil organizations use them.
