What are the conventions for affixing a " d' " and a " ir' " to the beginning of your last name? I was under the impression that " d' " was for being of a family in a dragonmarked house (i.e. d'Vown or d'Kundarak), and that " ir' " was for being a member of the ruling nobility of the Five Kingdoms (i.e. ir'Wynarn). Thanks in advance for your help. |

So for instance, Elaydren from the Forgotten Forge is Lady Elaydren d'Cannith to outsiders, or Lady Elaydren Vown d'Cannith to fellow House members. |
