| Sebmagic07-16-05, 04:30 PM | Ok, here is my questions... what level should 2 PC be to do SoLW ? (only the 2 of them) This is for my DM and we're a small group (1 DM, 2 PC) and it would be easier for him to work with a pre-made adventure like that one.... And he prefers for us to adjust to the difficulty, than to him modify every encounter on the go.... The two PCs are one fighter and one monk, but we can adjust them.... (we were in a campaign with them, they are now level 2 and we *might* get level 3 before the next *mission*) Also, what should he be carefull about if we are only two (yes, i know, the mournland...) ??? Thanks |

As to what to watch out for, I'd say TPKs, but since your planning on playing the module, I don't want to give anything away. If I were to run the module with just two people, I think 4th level would work okay. I would definately give my players more clues to avoid rushing into battle with the encounter on page 14. That nearly wiped out my group of six 3rd level players. (they only escaped by using every last action point, lucky rolls, and me backing off with the "bad guys".) |

I'll pass this to the DM, and try to do something with it... he might start us at 3rd and we will have to be *extra* carefull, because he's not too used to higher level PC (we just started and played with some level 1, 2 and 3...). Any other opinion ? |

Maybe multiclass, for example, a fighter/cleric of Dol Dorn, and either have a rogue or wizard or a rogue/wizard... the Fighter Cleric is a good idea... hmmm... maybe I should look into that sometime... anyway... Two lv 4's and perhaps allow them to have their maximum hit points for that level? It can be done... I think ;) |
