| MrMagoo03-18-05, 09:59 AM | I just started an Eberron Play-by-Post campaign and it appears I'm missing some world specific knowledge. Apparently, I'm expected to know about a place called Union on an adjacent demi-plane. Here's what the DM told me when I asked about it. Union is an extraplanar city based on a series of floating islands in a land of constant twilight. It is run mainly as a large market, with a race known as Mercanes keeping things under their hold with ease. The Union Sentinels keep everything on the straight and narrow, and it is never advisable to mess with the law in Union. Eberron is the material plane in this campaign, while Union is on a separate demi-plane. I'm looking through my Eberron campaign book and not finding any reference to any of the above. Am I blind? Am I looking in the wrong place? Help! |

When 3.x rolled around, they decided that since Wiz/Sor magic was called Arcane now, it would confuse people if there was a race called Arcanes that weren't primarily spellcasters. Mercane has some of the roots of Arcane, with the added Mer (I can only assume short for Merchant). The more you know. *rainbow dealie* -TRRW |
