Need ideas for Airship cargos [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-25-06, 09:30 PM The group that I DM for has aquired a small airship through their dealings with House Lyrandar. As part of the deal they get free docking, but everytime they leave Sharn they need to carry some cargo/passengers for the house. Since the party does not like people to know what they are upto they will choose a cargo that will get them in the right general direction. I am having trouble thinking of cargos and destinations for them. The ship can carry a max of 4 tons and has only basic passenger space. Since the party isn't necessarily poplular with the house (got the ship by being in the middle of a house feud) type of cargo can be anything.
Any Ideas?

Diplomats going to places not on the rail, perhaps Rhukaan Draal.
Nobles on holiday.
Specialist medics urgently needed by rich people elsewhere.
Dragonshards fresh fron Xen'drik being taken to Thrane or Karrnath.
A sweepstakes winner on a joyride.
King Kaius has business in Droaam and is travelling covertly. The party aren't aware of his identity.
Anything that people cannot take a risk on having stolen. Family heirlooms and such, maybe that need repair.
Fresh fruit from Thrane flown down to Sharn for a party.
Adventurers associated with house Lyrandar using their connections for a free ride (haha it can go both ways!)

-Casks of Nightwood Ale headed for the Tain Gala.
-A group of cartographers working on detailed aerial maps.
-Medicines and House Jorasco healers heading to stop a plague outbreak.
-A magical beast headed to a menagerie (unicorn, etc...)
-A dangerous beast headed to a menagerie (dinosaur, various dire or horrid animals).
-An ancient Xen'drik artifact.
-King Kong! :)
-An Ascendant Councilor from Aerenal
-An extreme explorer, his showgirl girlfriend, and his little-kid sidekick. :)
-A group of mid-level spell casters attending a conference in Arcanix.
