Laros 08-09-05, 08:30 PM	I'm currently writing a very detailed story for the reading enjoyment of the rest of my group of friends, and I need a couple curse/slang words. I've looked through a couple other threads, but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. The first word that I need is the equivalent of coward, or some other word that a normaly kind and nature-loving Elven Fighter/Sorcerer might scream at someone who killed their wife, then teleported away after nearly being killed themselves. So basicly I'm looking for the most hate-filled Eberron word for a coward. The second word is said by the same character, a short time later, and would basicly be the strongest, most forceful version of "drat". The next phrase is said by a human assassin, and needs to be reflect a useless pack animal. The everyday equivalent that I came up with was "a horse with a broken leg". The last one isn't as important, and would probably translate to the same thing, but if there is an equivalent I would appreciate knowing it. The phrase is "around here," as in "You're the useless one around here". Any help with these Eberron terms would be greatly appreciated.

Vanelar Elvish "NEL'TESSAR!" (Roughly a variant of FR's Elves but basically it means "Not Us" and for Valenar elves, all others are cowards and unworthy of attention) The second word is said by the same character, a short time later, and would basicly be the strongest, most forceful version of "drat". "Ring of Siberys" is a cannon one. The next phrase is said by a human assassin, and needs to be reflect a useless pack animal. The last one isn't as important, and would probably translate to the same thing, but if there is an equivalent I would appreciate knowing it. "About as useful as a halfling would be at Morgraive University." "A goblin's brain and a warforged's fingers."
superdeadsmurf 08-09-05, 09:39 PM	The second word is said by the same character, a short time later, and would basicly be the strongest, most forceful version of "drat". 5 Nations has "Ogre's Eyes!" as a fairly common Brelish explitive similar to "drat!"

Laros 08-14-05, 10:21 PM	Sorry, I meant a half-elf child, and somehow 'mom and dad' don't seem quite right for any fantasy story.
