| Archangel6202-02-07, 03:51 AM | My campaign is going to center the Lords of Dust as the main enemies of the party, the idea I have is a bit convoluted, what I need is some help fleshing out the ideas as well as adapting some of the demon lords and dukes of hell to work into my plan. The idea I'm going with is that the Lords of Dust captured an Archivist/Malconvoker who sought to turn the powers of their council against itself. He failed, was overwhelmed and is now a dust stuffed creature, a puppet of those he tried to overthrow. His knowledge was a great boon to them and they got a new plan, they learned of the location of several generals and warlords in the service of the bound elder evils. One of them is actually in the wastes, another deep beneath the sea, another entombed in the silver flame. Their current plan is to try to reach out and free these beings as well as garner an army to them, they aren't thinking conquest, at least not yet, but instead to use many actions to cause instability, maybe another war, and then use their forces to offer strength and victory to leaders in exchange for various...gifts shall we say. The initial strategy involves the shadow pack, the remaining force of werewolves in Droaam. The malconvoker is speaking to them through proxies, offering them weapons, armor, and power if they will follow his lord and will launch attacks against Aundair, Breland, and Thrane. The one in the wastes is Baphoment, beneath the sea Dagon, and within the flame is a bound mephistopholes. I have some ideas already but I want some other strategies, as well as problems you guys might see with this. I need some feedback and inspiration here if you'd all be so kind. |
