| Pelgrin01-19-05, 01:39 PM | Well if you are bored and need something to read I have been writing a little story about a changeling Artificer named Cort. His adventures can be seen here written as though they are the writings in his own journal. http://cortsjournal.blogspot.com/ It still needs a little editing and I need to catch up a little on the 'Glossary of Terms' but its getting there. Enjoy ~ |

I like Cort a lot and he gave me good insight on how I might want to play my changeling artificer, Nym. I'm curious as to how many identities, besides Grond, does Cort have. I'm interested to find out what happens next. |

I actually bought a leather bound journal at the store and am setting him up to be an Extreme Explorer who keeps notes on runes and observations of Xen'Drik, etc. Plus, some day it'll be fun to look back on all my group's adventures from his perspective. I too enjoyed reading some of your journal. -AF |

He started in the Lhazar principalities working for a very minor pirate lord under the guise of a dwarf named Sunch. The only person who knew he was a changeling was the lord himself. He was the court artificer and a spy for the lord. He left there and spent sometime on the talenta plains trading with the halflings whose society he enjoys quite a bit. One of the things that annoys Cort is his inablility to become small enough to emulate those proud people. There he was a half-elf named Brodi. At present he maintains three facades. Grond an aging Orc who wheels and deals on the shady side of life in Wroat. Maker a half-elf artificer and legitimate business man and a local drunk living off an inheritance named Mardin, a human he likes to pose as to listen to conversations in local inns and taverns. He dislikes possing as elves, Kalashtar and warforged because he believes that he doesnt understand their nature well enough to be believable. |
