Neogi Invasion [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-27-07, 07:38 AM I remember posting a bit about a possible neogi invasion scenario for Eberron on these boards, but I couldn't find it with a search. Did the board archives get deleted at some point?

There's still a thread over at ENWorld (http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=162643) that describes the basics, but I don't remember the other ideas posted here...

09-28-07, 02:43 AM I'm afraid not - I'm currently stuck with a long-running Exalted campaign which all of my gaming group - including me - are loath to abandon.

09-28-07, 03:20 AM I was reading the Denizens of Dread (Ravenloft monster book), and in it there was actually the Body Snatcher plant. It isn't called that, but it pretty much creates pods of people and snitches them when they sleep, etc.

I could see the Neogi using this sort've as a pre-cursor to an invasion. They want their slaves all ready infiltrating Khorvaire, primarily their leaders and/or main defenses. That way, when they come down, they have sleeper agents who can undermine the effort or cause chaos amid the initial responders.
