okay, long story short im from the same campaign as gadriel, The reason that I want to be level 11 is that the rest of the party is lvl 11 or higher, so starting lower would be bad, especially in this really, really screwed up party. For example, we have.... A Pixie Wilder A Psion that's becoming a lich, and in addition to this, he commonly dominates party members. A Warforged Dervish And, an archer who doesn't shoot very well. Also, the party has almost half of the houses after us, not to mention several kingdoms. In addition, the party has an airship (which they stole from House Lyrandar), and it might be good to have a way to escape from it very quickly.... yeah, im the archer who doesn't shoot very well. shifter ranger to be exact, but ive gotten better. prob is that the first time i rolled a twnty on attack roll was yesterday. Anyway, had a near tpk yesterday and i figured it would be a good point to finally part ways with my character, since the last concious member of the party there (the lich psion was off buying wrappings or whaever they're called) dragged my ko'd body to a temple and left me there. actually that was gadriel's xtreme explorer who did it. he's had some very indiana jones moments, specifically swinging his way into our airship after it had been commandeered while we (him and i) were on top. the rakshasa who did it flipped the ship upside down to try to throw us off, you can imagine the situation. anyway the pixie wilder's dead and so is the previously unmentioned soulknife, and with the pixie goes the more powerful objection to the lich psion's rulership of the party. After that long story which i now realize is unnecessary, the question is that i want my next char to be a goliath, but am having troublew with backstory. im thinking originated in the mror holds region, got airshipwrecked on frostfell for some time and defended the ship's cargo from pirates while there until rescue. (this explains the prestige class) the char is a fighter1/barbarian5/frostrager5. so far all i have is that after the frostfell his nature became too agressive for his previous employment (guard/bodyguard) so he becomes a mercenary. oh, and i am sort of thinking he might have been a mualio lonehunter (the goliath hero from RoS). I would appreciate any help on the specifics for the backstory, or you can tell me what you think of what ive come up with so far.
