Soulkeeper 01-25-06, 07:25 PM	I am an older, new DM. Been a player for many years, in my earlier days, and now I am the DM for a younger generation. I am not using on-line tools, but what I am looking for is a tool to help me DM my games, store my players information, and basic game needs for reference sake. Printable so I can use at the table. I have found hundreds...but what's the majority use, what do the masses feel is the best? I do own all 3 core books, and many of the Eberron. It is our setting. I do have the DM screen for D&D 3.5 also.
twelvedrunkenmonkeyz 01-25-06, 07:32 PM	Etools. Also any stuff you purchase from their store they will allow you to change it out when they upgrade to RPGToolkit (god I can't wait for that to come out).

Jaek 01-26-06, 02:17 PM	Heck just something like Word would help you out if you are just wanting to keep notes and store info about your NPCs and the PCs. Heh I just thought of something. If you have a digital camera you could take snapshots of all your players' character sheets. At the end of every session you could delete the old image off the memory stick (or whatever they are called now days) and take a new snapshot. That's assuming you want to keep an eye on things to make sure that people aren't mysteriously obtaining loot between sessions.
Lonecry 01-26-06, 02:19 PM	I don't have a lot of money left over to invest in computer programs for gaming tools. But I have started using queue cards to help. I put the basic players info on each of the cards. I also then add the monsters for the night on some cards for handy reference. It also works out pretty good when you have everyone roll initiative you can then put the cards in order of their rolls. But thats what works for me.
