New Eberron Adventure [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-03-06, 07:38 PM Anyone know anything about a new Eberron "super" adventure coming out? I think I read somewhere that it will take players from lvl 5 all the way to lvl 10. Any other info anyone could provide would be very helpful

10-03-06, 08:00 PM The adventure is called Curse of the Dragon's Eye, though that title might be different now, and is written by Stephen Shubert, Tim Hitchcock, and Nicholas Logue:

Heroes searching for a mysterious artifact called the Dragon's Eye fall victim to an ancient curse tied to the Draconic Prophecy. They must unravel the truth about the curse while fending off agents of Lady Vol and the dragons of Argonnessen, who want to destroy them and claim the Dragon's Eye for theimselves.

Curse of the Dragon's Eye is an Eberron super-adventure for 5th level characters and is designed to take them to 10th level. The adventure uses a new combat encounter format designed to make the DM's job easier and to speed up play.

Comes out in April next year, 128 pages, US$24.95.

10-04-06, 09:29 AM Wow that sounds like a mini-campaign not just an adventure. I've always designed my adventures per the DM guide about 1/2 to 1 level per.

10-05-06, 09:03 AM I'm not sure about the other guys, but Nicholas Logue writes GREAT adventures.

His "Chimes At Midnight" from Dungeon magazine is one of the best published adventures I've ever run ... it fit into my existing campaign just great and provided a really great villian!

10-06-06, 10:08 AM Tim Hitchcock is another writer whose work is featured in Dungeon. Some of his adventures include "Seekers of the Silver Forge," "Box of Flumph" and the psionic one from Issue 116 (the name escapes me at the moment). I think he is an excellent writer also.

Tim is the man! I love his work in Dungeon!!! He is excellent to work with too, and he and I are doing our very best to collaborate on some Dungeon adventures together now (cause we had a blast working on Curse of the Dragon's Eye together). He is also a lot of fun to hang with at cons and parties! Spent a lot of Gencon this year just cruisin with Tim.
