| tSawyer09-26-06, 04:17 AM | So I just finished typing up an outline for the new campaign I'm planning and I was hoping to get some feedback. Anyone who wouldn't mind giving it a look would definitely earn major cool points. Thanks in advance. http://home.comcast.net/~balls2000/shirazRiddle.htm The name of the campaign is Shiraz' Riddle. The theme of the game is to really show how blurry the line is between good and evil. This is shown the most by the Keeper Cleric mini plot and Th'kazra (a good bronze dragon NPC that I've used in a number of my campaigns) and his dragon prophet. However, I do intend on weaving this theme throughout as much of the campaign as possible. I'm starting my PC's at level one and plan on them being around twenty by the end of the game. Two of my players have already submitted their characters which are a neutral good human cleric of the Host and a neutral shifter ranger. Another of my players is planning on playing a gnome artificer but that's all I know of so far. Also, I haven't acquired a fourth, yet, so I'm not sure what's going on there. The books that I'm using for the campaign are the core three, the Eberron Campaign Setting (of course) and all of the supplements (excluding Races of Eberron), Monster Manual III and the Expanded Psionics Handbook. An issue that has already come up is that my player for the cleric wants me to allow the Book of Exalted Deeds for some of the big undead bashing exalted feats. Because of the way my brain works, I refuse to only allow certain parts of a book. I didn't initially intend on allowing this book at all but figured I'd get any feedback that anyone has one way or another. I do, after all, have a wicked Vow of Poverty Cleric of the Silver Flame NPC that I've been itching to use in one of my campaigns which would work very well in this one. Anyway, again I'd like to say that I would really appreciate any comments, suggestions, warnings, etc. If you have any questions, let me know. Thank you again for your time. -Tom Sawyer P.S. I have an old account here on these boards that the site will allow me to log into but not post from. Anyone know how to fix that? |
