Check out the product info page: Eberron Campaign Setting (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/eberron/864000000) This cover was previewed at GAMA (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/new-cover.jpg), but until now, the WotC Products page and various online retailers have always had this image (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/eberron-cs-cover.jpg) up. The new cover image is in color, and features a large warforged holding a treasure chest. It's part of a Wayne Anthony Reynolds piece that also includes the image used on the Eberon poster (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/explorer-big.jpg). Eberron's first adventure also has a new cover: Shadows of the Last War (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/eberron/864100000) The new description provides some juicy hints: Race to Uncover Secrets Buried by Disaster! Lost within the ruined House Cannith citadel of Whitehearth, an arcane workshop somewhere in the perilous Mournland, is the key to constructing a terrible magic weapon. Agents of the Emerald Claw will stop at nothing to recover the ancient device. Whispers of the Vampire's Blade (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/eberron/864300000) has a new description, but it's cover is the same version revealed last week. With its black leather and color artwork, it's different from both the original sourcebook cover design and the current "one character in a circle" design. The same is true for Sharn, City of Towers (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/eberron/864200000). Cool stuff. Any thoughts?
Hanuman47 05-07-04, 10:52 AM	I notice they still list the page count at 288. Please, WotC, change it for me, so I can sleep at night. Of course I trust Keith Baker and James Wyatt when they say it is indeed 320 pages, but it would be reassuring to see it listed that way in WotC's own product catalog! Also, did you notice that the release date for Shadows of the Last War is listed as February 2004! I'm going to my FLGS to pick up my copy now! OK, not really.
ieattrollsforbreakfast 05-07-04, 11:50 AM	Thanks for pointing that out Johnny. I guess I was wrong when I said I didnt think the covers would end up different :( Oh well, I like the new covers more than the previous ones so I'm glad I was wrong.

Kryptonian Scion 05-07-04, 12:59 PM	I agree that the older versions of the cover were more appealing. While the black and white, "split" image was very unusual and a bit random, it conveyed the sense of action that Eberron is supposed to be focused on, because all of the characters appeared to be in the middle of some exciting, deadly encounter.
Doppleganger 05-07-04, 01:09 PM	The circle-pic thing provides a visual connection with the swirling 'O' up the Eberron title logo. Good idea, and looks great! :thumbsup: I would have like to see the organic yellow stripes stay in the background, but I'm sure we'll see enough of them elsewhere!
