But, you'll note the Eberron links on the left frame. That is a cool feature.

08-30-04, 11:08 PM You can change how the boards look in the My Account section.
Just go into your options. I suggest turning off the left menu and setting it back to Classic style to put the name/avatar/etc back on the left side of the post, instead of on top of it.

08-30-04, 11:43 PM It seems a lot of people haven't been keeping tabs on what was going on, so make sure you pass this stuff along. I for one don't want to spend the next month saying "Go into your account settings and change it" if I don't have to :)

08-31-04, 06:18 AM I don't mind the new look generally - the different positioning of the user info doesn't bother me - but I do find it a little annoying that on forums without a left menu, everything sticks to the left side of the screen instead of being nicely centred. Also, I liked the Eberron boards' dark-red background - it looked good, and was easy on the eyes. The background colour seems to be the one thing you can't change in the user options.

No, at the time the numbers continued and dissappeared in the right border of my monitor. I could just make the 3 in the 38 "box"... Funnily enough, now it works just fine...

I guess it's just the new boards acting a bit odd till all has settled down.

The "Show signature" box in the Reply page is ticked.

So, can anyone else see my signature in this message, or is it MIA?

Signatures only show up once per thread in vb3, the greatest aesthetic improvement in the upgrade IMHO.
There is nothing wrong with your signature, I can see it fine.

Not in your last message, but the one before. Check your settings. You might have the "signature 1/thread" option on. I sure as Dolurrh do. No more shall monster sigs pollute threads!

No more shall monster sigs pollute threads!Just a note, its one sig per page, not per thread. It'll stick your sig on a page 1 post, on the page 2 post, page 3 posts, all the way up.

I like that. Means if you wanna check somebody's sig that isn't showing up, you never have to go more than one page to find it. Can you imagine someone saying "check the link in my sig" on page 50, and nobody knows what page he came into the thread on? Ouch.

And I agree that it's a nice touch - some of the sigfiles on the boards are ridiculous in size, at least they'll be less of a nuisance now.

I feel bad for anyone running anything less than 1024 resolution.
