A trilogy about the Dreaming Dark 2. A trilogy about the lost mark of Death 3. A trilogy about the aftermath of the Last War 4. A trilogy about the depths of Khyber Just an educated guess...
tryst_91 01-18-05, 09:55 AM	I apologize, i guess i understated my question... what i was actually refering to is if anyone had any information about what the dreaming dark trilogy would entail.. you know basic plot/blurb about it other than it takes place in Eberron and has to do with the dreaming dark... Next time i will try to put forth a simpler query. Thanks for that reply though, oh so amusing.
Blizzard_Bobsan 01-18-05, 11:32 AM	Well, I could proceed to tell you that it will be based in Sharn, but I guess this won't be very informative either... The truth is that Keith hasn't shared almost anything because of the NDA and all we know is that the Dreaming Dark itself will be very subtle and will stay in the background in first book. There was also some little detail about the heroes of the book, but I do not remember it from the top of my head - you could look in the Ask Keith Baker Thread (it was a recent posting, I think). Hope you didn't took offence of my too literal reply - I was trying to express the point that in fact we don't know anything, save the general themes, not to mock you.

I just saw the news release on it too, and it doesn't really give any solid info either. Ah well, Feb 4th it will be mine anyway and the mystery will be solved... well at least the first 3rd of it will be since it is a trilogy... anyway. illithon
Darrek 01-19-05, 02:29 PM	One additional point of information about City of Towers (courtesy of Keith Baker): The characters will be the same ones discussed in the short story "Death at Whitehearth" which was included with the Shadows of the Last War module.

My guess: Warforged, Human, Half-Elf, Dwarf. I haven't read the short story, so I don't know if I am right.

As of now, Jode bears the Mark of Healing, but does not actually claim any connection to House Jorasco. Apparently Dravot was jumping to conclusions - or assuming that Jode possesses an allegiance he's chosen not to reveal.
tryst_91 01-20-05, 05:27 PM	Hey hellcow, thanks for replying. I think it is great that you take time to come visit these boards like this. Yeah i gathered from the title it might have something to do with Kalashtar and inspired. Psions have been my favorite class pretty much as long as i played and as an avid fantasy reader it is pretty much impossible to find a good story with a psionic character as the main character. The closest and by far my favorite works are the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordon and it isn't exactly psionics there either. Happily RA Salvatore at least included a psionic character (though not the main one by any means) in one of his Drizzt books. I do however have hope for the future since there is so much possiblity in Ebberon. And yes, since i want one so bad, i am working on one myself. Illithon
Nos-4-A2 01-20-05, 06:25 PM	I'm disappointed that he'll be using the Death at Whitehearth character's, I actually found them to be far less interesting than some of the archetype characters he presented in the Core book which is saying a lot because the Core book characters had only a single paragraph of information. I have faith that Kieth'll turn it around, but Death at Whitehearth just didn't do much for me.
