OK, this would just be speculation on my part, but it seems very convenient that a new race will be introduced into Eberron (via Magic of Eberron) just after Magic of Incarnum has been released. It would seem quite obvious for me to present this new race as an Incarnum using race, as a way of introducing Incarnum to Eberron. Especially since there seems to be this increasing tendency towards linking different products up to each other. Personally I must say I really liked the new mechanics for MoI and it shows great promise, but the fluff was quite offputting. (Items "hovering" around the character...please!) How do you think this could be translated into Eberron? What do we know about this new race so far? How do you feel Incarnum would meld (pun intended) with the Eberron setting?
