Just finished up the road chart to go along with the lightning rail chart I did two weeks ago.

the road chart times are based on 8 hours of traveling per day.
the lightning rail chart times are based on it being able to travel around the clock as per Keith's Dragonshard article.

here they are:

Lightning Rails (http://www.wayward4.com/eberron/lr_chart.txt)

as always questions or comments are welcome.

I didn't have the time to look for mistakes and the like, but at first glance it looks awsome and quite some effort on your account.
Thanks! I always wanted such tables.

Any way these could be made into .pdf's or something? These are great tables, it would be cool to do them up as player handouts too for when they arrive at the Rail Station and they want to buy a ticket... How hard would that be?

I just sent PDF versions to ChaosBug. Not sure if he can host. If you PM me, I'd be happy to send them to you also. Be patient, I'm a horrible PMer.

Great job on these.

Thought about doing it myself, but it seems you saved me a lot of time and frustration :D

Not to be a pain but, how hard would it be to make up an airship plot?

More crossed destinations but it is more of a point A to point B problem than a complex line following problem.

Great job on these btw, I think you may have beat the game designers on this chart.

I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad that you did this so I don't have to. :D

I too would love airship plots, might be hard to do, but you could probably do them better than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again. :D :D :D :D

two problems with the airship chart,

first I did not find a list of which towns/cities have airship docks so I don't know which to include and which to leave off.

second is airships fly in straight lines from point to point from what I've gathered so a ruler and the printed map should be a good enough go by to figure air ship distances out.

I highly recommend having a copy of the map printed out at a print shop or somewhere that can support a D size sheet of paper, the map I used will fit perfectly on a D size sheet of paper and can be laminated for around 4 bucks.(Printed it myself here at work but had it laminated at a copy shop for under 2 dollars)

On the other hand, if I find a list of which towns support airship travel then I'll make up a chart for ease of reference.

Also someone above requested a gussied up copy of the charts as hand outs for their players. I'm working on that idea this week. No ETA on when it will be released.
