Okay, this was a fairly inevitable idea, and I'm probably not the first to suggest it.

Sub-Aquatic Sloop
House Lyrandar's latest experimental vehicle, this ship consists of a hull that resembles a rather squat, bulbous stingray. The keel is constructed of adamantium, and the hull of precisely-shaped soarwood, with large portholes of crysteel-infused glass. The cabin's walls are magically enhanced, and can withstand water pressures at several hundred fathoms deep.

The hull tapers at the rear into a long tail, at the end of which a large ring - equal in diameter to the main hull's height - binds a Large water elemental. In the main cabin, a Medium air elemental is bound into the adamantium bulkheads, keeping the air within fresh for up to a week, after which it turns foul and unbreathable over a period of four hours. This limitation is due to the air elemental's disconnection from the outside air, and is not affected by the number of beings inside. Leaving the top hatch open for at least ten minutes once the craft is at surface level will completely refresh the air elemental.

The craft is capable of travelling at up to 10 miles per hour through calm seas. It takes a crew of three, including a House Lyrandar member with at least a lesser Mark to control the water elemental via a specially customised wheel of wind and water, and can comfortably carry up to five passengers.

House Lyrandar have yet to consider the concept of airlocks, and this vessel is equipped only with a top hatch. If entry or exit is required whilst underwater, it is done via magical items that grant effects such as dimension door, passwall or blink. Supplies of potions of water breathing, swimming and freedom of movement are kept available.

The craft's main intended purpose is to allow travellers attempting the crossing to Xen'drik to negotiate with the Sahuagin in comfort, without requiring the Sahuagin to come to the surface. It is also intended to explore the seabed for ancient Xen'drik ruins, dragonshards and valuable sunken wrecks.

Yeah, I did this, but no one had made one yet (except of course, one particular ancient civilization that once dwelled on a now sunken island). I don't like the idea of House Lyrandar having this, personally - it takes away the "specialness" of a "submersible boat." But, pardon the pun, whatever floats your boat.

My version looked something like a football with rivulets along the side where the elemental was bound. This gave it the movement capability of a squid - fast and mobile. Put a ramming prow on the front, and you now have the "sea monster" that's been terrorizing the seas, sinking ships... and it's just perfect for the PCs to be picked up by it and its mysterious captain.....
