Newbies Rundown [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-23-07, 11:14 PM Ok, so I really like the eberron enviorment, though I am a faruen fanboy. I've only read the books with Diran, the Blade and Flame Trilodgy. So after reading this I was really looking for a quick rundown on the place. I hope you guys can help, the basics are fine, if not what i'm looking for. Hope it isnt to much of an enconvienence, don't do so much as to get sued for copy right, I couldnt stand that on my consicounse. ty in advance.

11-23-07, 11:35 PM One of the regulars on the board created a Power Point introduction to Eberron for his own players. You can find the thread about it here. (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=749380) It covers most of the basics though its told in a decidedly general way without getting too much into specifics. Beyond that you can check out the creator of the setting Keith Baker (or Hellcow as he's known 'round these parts) Dragonshard articles found over here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/archeb/ds). Which go into detail about whatever corner of Eberron he was thinking about at the time.

11-24-07, 06:14 AM Eberron Basics (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/m.blunden/dnd/eberron.htm) is a good little page with a general overview of many aspects of the setting and next to no spoilers.

If your interest is piqued after that, go with the Main Eberron Campaign Setting book.
