Anyone know of anything like that? I'd like to produce a newspaper-like handout for my players, showing how their deeds affect Sharn. Does anyone know where I could find a template for that? Or perhaps a good example?

This thread, http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=501312, gave me some good advice for putting an Inquisitive together. I currently use Microsoft Word to put it together, and it's worked well for me. I'd recommend going to Dafont.com to get some additional fonts ... I use Cardinal Alternate, which looks good on the one I distribute to my group.

I would recommend experiementing with some higher-end printer paper (usually marketed as parchment, vellum, etc) that you can find in most office supply or hobby stores. I find it makes the Inquisitive look better/more authentic than if you print it on white paper.

If you're interested, PM me and I'll e-mail you a few sample issues I've put together.

I almost forgot, check out the Korranberg Chronicle at www.kchronicle.com ... they've done a great job, and it's much more in-depth than the one page, front and back Inquisitive I put together.

I'm old school Mac user and I use Pagemaker 6.5, then convert it to a PDF so I can print it out at work. I use articles from the kchronicle website and dragonshards for assistance, in addition to my own. I also have an incentive for my players to write articles for the Inquisitive. Dayspire, if you want a copy of my PDF version, send me a message and I'll try to send it to you.

I've made my own news paper, (1 side of A4 paper with two colums on each side). It exist alongside the Sharn Inq. in Sharn and is mostly made up of the articles found in the Eberron Official Homepage. Plus a few articles tied to the players and what they are doing.

It's a biweekly page, so it won't seem odd that so many fantastic things happend in one page.. it's had the time to do so after all.

The layout isnt that interesting. Like I said, just an A4 with two colums and a headline + the symbol of the paper, but it's easy to handle and make, with just a normal printer and a copymachine, (if you want to save a bit of money on ink).

I've made 4 issues so far. If you PM me your mail adress, I'd be happy to share the files with you. It's made solely in the programs of Windows XP.
