| FellBlade06-07-06, 03:03 PM | I cant beleive im saying this (i usualy dont even alow psions in my games) how would someone go about replacing all arcane and divine magic with just 1- artificers 2- psionic classes Im talkin no magic, never existed, whats a wizard?. Any ideas? |
| Esgay06-07-06, 03:24 PM | If there isn't any magic then it wouldn't really be eberron, high magic, low power is what makes eberron eberron, no magic is just.. something else. Saying that, if everything was run on psionics instead that may provide a workable alternative, the artificer would have to be replaced with some psionic variant else the class would be as redundant as the wizard. You'd also have to implement some kind of psionic magewright to explain the fact that all of the "technology" is so prevalent in the world. As to how a bunch of low level psions running around would affect the campaign I couldn't tell as i'm not particularly familiar with the psionic rules. So many minor things would have to be re-written, giants making Dal-quor constantly remote could be explained by epic level psionic powers but how would you re-write thing like the druidic sects? What would they become? (also Is there a psionic version of awaken? if not then say bye-bye to Oalian the awakened greatpine druid) All in all I would say it's more effort than it's worth |
