ThanisKartaleon 09-20-04, 05:33 AM	Chapter Three of the ECS starts with a graphic of a druid by the name of Noerra fending off otyughs with her raven companion. Around the edge of her face and also on both arms can be seen what is likely a dragonmark. My question is (obviously) what dragonmark is it, both type and power (would you say syberis or does that fit the dimensions of a greater mark?). And for that matter... what race is she?

Save-vs-DM 09-21-04, 01:26 AM	I think that she's human. Her build is too heavy to be an elf and too slight to be a half-orc. I don't think she's a half-elf, either. I'd peg her mark as the Syberis mark of Finding. It's the closest mark by far. It also fits the type, as she would be affiliated with Orcs, who are the most predominate gatekeepers. Taelok 09-21-04, 01:59 AM	I looked at each of the possible greater and siberys dragonmarks that a human/half-elf/elf could use and have come to the conclusion that it is an aberrant dragonmark. I couldn't find any mark that had the stacked arrowhead look that is on HER left arm or the sideways double arch that is on HER right arm. If she were a dragonmark heir, unless she has some serious family issues, I don't see any reason why she'd be out in the wilderness losing possible revenue fighting against outsiders. Yeah, my vote is aberrant dragonmark.
