Hand of Evil 07-01-04, 07:07 AM	ERB - Carson Napier of Venus, John Carter of Mars Moorcock - Mars books
Mytholder 07-01-04, 12:40 PM	Randall Garrett's Lord Darcy books. An alternate-history version of Earth with urbane magical detectives and sorcerous warfare between European nations. Well worth a read.
The_Declaration 07-01-04, 01:38 PM	the Cycle of Swords from Fritz Leiber is to me a good inspiration for Eberron.
LordofIllusions 07-01-04, 01:41 PM	Again I actually think that Star Wars has some of the flair that would make Eberron hot. ~~~

LordofIllusions 07-01-04, 01:55 PM	Originally posted by The_Declaration i'm interested, what in Star Wars is in the neighborhood of Eberron's atmosphere? Everything is infused with magic in Eberron. In Star Wars everything is infused with the force. Take a look at Coruscant and then take a look at Sharn. They are similar at least IMO. Even though the technology is not NEARLY as advanced the magic technology reminds me of the technology in SW. ~~~
