But no, nothing in Eberron is Open Content.

Correction: If you want to use it in published material, you have to talk to WotC.

Nothing is stopping you from doing whatever you want with it in your home games. I don't think WotC will sue you if you borrowed your friend's copy of the ECS to copy something out of it for your own game.

Well, check the d20 Modern SRD. It's open content, and it has a Research skill which, IIRC, has about the same function as the Research feat.

09-11-04, 07:21 AM They're not really related at all. Either you know something with Knowledge or you don't. Research doesn't help in that check.
