That is awesome.

For the three of you who haven't heard, Order of the Stick (http://giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript?SK=1) is a webcomic based on DnD made by Rich Burlew, Keith Baker's archnemisis and another finalist in the setting search competition. He's also the author of the upcoming Explorer's Handbook for Eberron.

Read Order of the Stick. Laugh.

I thought it was particularly appropriate seeing as how Rich Burlew (the guy that does Order of the Stick) came in second place in the setting contest, the one Keith won that got us Eberron.

OotS could really use a Warforged Artificer, don't you think? ;)

You know, the more I look at that, the more I think Clank there is Canadian.
Those who watch South Park will get the referance.

I hadn't realized that Rich Burlew took second place in the initial contest? Hmm, that's interesting.

When I first heard about OOTS (they were on around #60 or so), I read the first 30 in a row to catch up. THen finished with the rest of them the next day. Now I have a ritual every Monday and Thursday.

I hadn't realized that Rich Burlew took second place in the initial contest? Hmm, that's interesting.Yup, from what I heard, he was pushing an aquatic setting of some kind. There's actually a picture of Rich "shaking hands" with Keith on BossytheCow.com. Well, if by shaking you mean strangling, and by hands you mean Keith's neck... yeah...

Running gag is that he runs around going BAKER!!!!! like Kirk yells KHAN!!!!, since Keith beat him out of 10 grand and our eternal love and devotion :P

I finally decided to sit down and actually read the strip from the beginning, so I sat down and read the entire archive. By about 6th or 7th one, I decided it was pure gold. Went back to #1, saved it, then loaded each strip and saved it to my HD as I read it.

Should worse come to worse, and OotS goes down forever, I shall have a backup copy until the end of time :)

Print Version!?! I need to do more than just go to the OOTS strip on his site. Of course I would have to hide the book before every game so my players don't get sidetracked reading it. Ha!

Can't we all just get along?
I think Banjo would make a great member of the Sovereign Host
...maybe Banjhulu could be his counterpart in the Dark Six...

You know, I really think Mr. Burlew's screaming of "Baker" is really more reminiscient of Principal Scudworth's screaming of "Stamos!!!"

Which I guess was already a reference to Kirk & Khan. Meh.

Order of the Stick rules.

As long as Mr. Baker doesn't show up to the prom at Mr. Burlew's high school full of clones and then noblely sacrifice himself in a conga-line to oblivion. We still need Keith to throw us toffees.

I think it's supposed to be more like Dr. Doom yelling RICHARDS!!, since Khan was just a foe-of-the-week (well, and movie) whereas Doom and Richards are archnemeses.

Nobody has yet mentionned Severus Snapes hysterically yelling "POTTER!!!" at the end of Prisoner of Azkaban (not in the movie, sadly, 'tis a fun scene).
