fizzbang 09-09-04, 01:45 PM	I love how, in Eberron, a cleric can be devoted to an entire pantheon. And I really appreciate the way that the Dark Six and the Sovereign Host are closely related. Now, I have a question: what do people think of a cleric who's devoted to the entire Sovereign Host/Dark Six "family". Such a cleric would probably be a neutral cleric whose belief is rooted in the interplay between the two opposed arms of the family. Perhaps a dragon who worships the "original draconic gods" or the like. Do people think this would be overpowered or unbalanced? I'm not even sure what it'd be called: "The Diverse Family"? "Children of Siberys"? Any other suggestions?

Its difficult to come up with any kind of overall religous view that such a cleric might have. How could one pay homage to both Arawai the god of ranger and druids, and the Shadow the god who promotes the corruption of nature? You suggest having someone believe in the opposition of the two pantheons, but I personally wouldnt call them a cleric of both families. Such a cleric isnt really worshiping either pantheon, just believing that both are playing an important part in the world. So, in summary, Clerics of both pantheons? No. Clerics believing in the balance between the two? Perhaps, but would take some work to figure out. Anyway, if I was to refer to the both the pantheons as one, I would probably call them the Divine Family or perhaps just 'the gods.'
