See, I would have expected that in Eberron, they'd play Computers & Corporations, a game where that obviously mythical idea, "technology," has changed the face of the world. Players would have to deal with "the Internet" and could ride into combat on mechanical steeds known as "automobiles".
Also, they'd be mocked by all their friends at the magic university for playing something so obviously unrealistic.

11-21-04, 12:51 PM We didn't notice it earlier because the residents of Sharn just switched to 3.5e, so they needed to update their Forgotten Realms and purchase the PGTF. They're still reading through it, and they're kind of annoyed at the mislabeling of the dwarf illustrations in the first chapter. ;)

I thought it was pretty funny, labelling a FR fan as a traitor in the world of Eberron. anyone get the idea the artist would rather be drawing Elminster than d'Cannith? :tissue:

11-23-04, 10:36 AM How about a cross over were adventures from Eberron are sucked into Faerun through one of the books. Myst rip *rip*. It would also be hilarious if they actually had one or more of the Faerun source books with them as well. Score, the first legitimate excuse to meta game. The caption was "Searching for a fugitive". I think its the poor guy in purple(?) who's the *chuckle* D&D player.

There is another excuse for why the book is there, it is actually from another dimension and the guy was a scholar trying to decipher and understand it. What would happen if an Eberron book showed up in Eberron? What chaos. And yet it still would not answer the important questions, like what happened to Cyrn or do the gods really exist.

Head goes *pop* as fantasy universe gets layered in another. I guess the Eberron D&D would be just as relevant as d20-Modern is to our world (which is to say not vary).
