Artifact Spells [Archive] - Wizards Community

I picked up the book Secrets of Xen'Drik recently and one of the most intriguing ideas in the book, in my opinion, is the idea of Artifact Spells. Unfortunately, the book only provides a couple and only one of them is really interesting in any way. Has anyone here come up with interesting Artifact Spells? Any ideas?

Appart from that, I'd says that a good artifact spell is akin to "create a 5th level spell, but it's a 3rd level Artifact Spell". More powerful than standard 3rd level spell, but limited in use and availability.
