| Zombomaniac02-23-07, 08:31 PM | In the Faiths of Eberron a mark is mentioned in the same chapter as the Warforged faiths. It was called the Mark of Making or the Becoming Mark. I can't find the book to remember which name. But what I want to know is what is it? It was mentioned in a side bar and I can't find any other info on it, but I really want to know more. Please help. Thanks in advance. |

| Zombomaniac02-23-07, 09:39 PM | Is it mentioned anywhere else? It only a symbol that Warforged place on each other? Thats it? |
| Wrathamon02-23-07, 10:44 PM | Is it mentioned anywhere else? It only a symbol that Warforged place on each other? Thats it? Races of Eberron mentions the beginnings of the construction of the Godforged. It's the symbol of that religion that appears on certain warforged I believe and no it is not mentioned any where else besides the brief mention of the godforged in RoE. (I havent read secrets of sarlona yet thou). One uniquely Godforged rite that is followed by all members of an assembly is to engrave, stamp, attach, or otherwise permanently affix the Mark of the Becoming to their bodies. The warforged are aware of the dragonmarks that set apart certain members of the humanoid races, and some have heard of the draconic Prophecy that they embody. The Godforged know that they fulfill a destiny, so marking themselves in the same way seems completely logical. An assemblage's Architect chooses the precise form of the mark, but all such marks share the central feature of an opening construct eye. So a minor ritual is peformed and a symbol that is made to appear like a dragonmark is affixed to the warforged. It seems like it could act as a holy symbol. |
