Since an averange worshipper of BoV isn't aware of it's true nature, what do they know of Vol? I assume they know something, or it wouldn't be called "Blood of Vol." I'm guessing they wouldn't know of her existance as a lich, but perhaps they something of her existance, embellished or outright fabricated.

I am creating a character who buys what BoV is selling hook line and sinker, and am looking for exactly what that might be. Faiths is enlighteneng in its revelation of secrets, but show much of the average Karrnathi's belief.

Actually, Vol is the name of Erandis' family line.

Essentially, the origins of the religion lie in Aerenal, where the Vol family line sought immortality through undeath.

So at most, a worshipper believes he is practicing the traditions of an ancient elf family.

Most people aren't aware of Erandis and she prefers it that way.

the blood of vol belives that immortality is divinity.

REmember souls in eberron go to a plane where your memories are wiped out and its quite bleak.

They believe that the undead are people who have given up there chance at divinity to be a guide to others.
They dont directly worship undead but the power of blood and life, but undead occupy a special place as something like chosen gaurdians. The blood of vol actually predates vol-it was just picked up by her and transformed for purposes of convience.
