As a reoccuring villain, I want to create a "Chosen of Khyber". Whether she is or is not sent by the Dragon Below doesn't really matter, but to those that truly believe it should be obviously that she is a Child of Khyber.

So, I thought a purple dragonscale would probably fit very well, but I'm really unsure about the classe(s) - Sorcerer, Favored Soul, Wilder, something else or some kind of mix?

I planned her as one of these clever, charismatic cult leaders - It's an open secret she's connected to some crimes, but that cannot be proven.

I'm open to every suggestion.

I personally like sorcerer.

As an NPC BBEG, you can add some unusual stuff as well.

I'd do the following.

A> Abberant Dragonmark. Probably something not on the list as well, just because. (1st level spell)
B> Lesser and Greater Abberant Dragonmarks (From Dragonmarked) as level appropriate, also probably with unique spell powers.

ALTERNATELY! Special thing> Mark of Khyber! Create your own. An abberant mark on the same power level as a Mark of Syberys. If level appropriate, give them the three levels of Hier of syberys, but replace the syberys mark with a full body abberant mark that does some 8th or 9th level spell.

Also, I'd give her a unique Draconic Heritage line of feats. I.E. for the ones where the color of dragon matters, I'd list it as Draconic Heritage (Khyber) and give her unique powers there as well.

Mind you, nothing to broken, but unique and uncanny.

Some really nice ideas and I especially like the one of the variant Draconic Heritage feat. I have thought about giving her more dragonic feature before, but I'm still not sure about if she would look cooler with or without wings while dressed for the Great Sharn Ball

Recently another interesting possibility crossed my mind - The Binder Class. That would make her really unusual, but most of the dragonscale's blood-quickenings are nearly useless if the character isn't a spell caster...

So, if you're making her a spellscale, here's a couple ideas.

First off, If you really like the binder class, many of the higher powered pacts provide spell like abilities. I'd simply allow her blood-quickenings to affect the spell like abilities as if they were spells.

Also, Make her a special Khyber Blood Quickening. Something like a bonus to Bluff, and the ability to use the Vile Spell feat three times a day.
