Draconic Prophecy Marks [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-05-07, 08:56 PM Okay, now I understand the Draconic Prophecy appearing on cave walls and on the lesser races and how they appear as large glowing marks (looking similiar to dragonmarks on cave walls and such) but how do exactly can you tell Draconic Prophcey Marks in the Clouds like in the image in uhh.. DoE? What makes clouds forming Prophcey marks different than clouds just crossing past and between each other, that confuses me a little when it comes to the prophcey.

Absolutely ditto. Only a dragon (and perhaps Deathless) has the patience to stare at the skies all day for maybe a week, looking for signs.
As to how it would work, in the case of clouds maybe they form into narrow strips that form a draconic pattern, which reform every week or day, or other randomly chosen interval, like a geyser. Furthermore, these cloud dragonmarks might be only distinguishable from a certain point; from other vantage points, it might be misread, and misinterpreted.
