This has led me to an odd question though... Let me give an example. Hubert d'Cannith is a low level artificer, and has a least mark of making. The mark appears on the back of his left hand. Hubert is involved in an 'unfortunate incident' the results in the lose of the left arm, about three inches below the shoulder. No healer powerful enough is available to reattach the arm. The arm is lost. Now, he still has his power, but the mark is gone, along with the hand. Does the mark reappear on another part of his body after a while? If not, what if he replaces the arm with a graft? It would seem obvious that if he magically regrew his own arm the mark would show back up on the hand, but what if he gets an undead graft arm (for the touch attack) will it show up on the new undead hand? What if he becomes a Renegade Mastermaker and puts his construct arm on his left stump? Will a dragonmark manifest on his battlefist after a while? All very theoretical questions, but it's the sort of thing that bothers me. |

Does the mark reappear on another part of his body after a while? Yes. It says so in Dragonmarked right after the part about the Dragonmark reappearing if removed. All very theoretical questions, but it's the sort of thing that bothers me. No, it reappears on another viable part of his body. |
