| Burningspear07-10-07, 07:22 PM | is it possible, if within the parameters of any other sect of the druids, to be a member of multiple sects?, for instance: (looking at the pre-requisites of the Eldeen Ranger prest.class) Child of winter (any non-good) and Gatekeeper (any non-evil) = any neutral.. and besides, could you then have the Eld.rang. class 2x because you adhere to both the 2 sects? |
| Burningspear07-10-07, 10:09 PM | Or, on another brainwave :plotting:, A druid adhering the Blood of Vol? is that possible? :hides: :smirk: |
| Symar07-10-07, 10:12 PM | Don't just look at the PrC reqs... lok at what the actual beliefs are. And I'd say eldeen ranger x2 for different sects is just as wrong as psion x2 with different disciplines. |

(i am just brainwaiving here :tie: ) |
| Darth Syntax07-11-07, 02:35 AM | I agree with Symar, having a Druid belonging to more than one sect would be a bit like having a Hindu-Calvinist or an Hasidic-Theravadan Buddhist; it just dosen't make conceptual sense. |
| Hellcow07-13-07, 04:19 PM | It's not something I would allow. It would be like a cleric taking two levels in "Cleric of the Blood of Vol" and two levels in "Cleric of the Silver Flame". Membership in a druid sect represents deep devotion to a set of beliefs, and the feats even more so. Even if the sects are not directly opposed to one another, their beliefs are still radically different. So while the mechanics don't specifically forbid it, I certainly would. |
| Kinger07-14-07, 11:35 AM | I want to be a 6/6 Ranger/Ranger, taking both fighting styles! Except that's not allowed. The same goes for anything else. |
| Hellcow07-14-07, 11:46 AM | Essentially, the sect feats were intended to serve as "domains for druids" - you get a single one to represent your faith. That probably should have been specified in the prereqs, but it is the intention: you can't be both Ashbound and Greensinger. |

I was only playing around with thoughts of possibilities, not to have sarcams dropped like Kringer does, i do understand what you all are saying, but it would be nicer if brought less cynical. but thanks anyway for you all to give thoughts.. |
| Kinger07-14-07, 11:32 PM | While it may have been sarcastic, I didn't intend it to be hurtful. Sorry if it came off that way. |
