Hello,

I am trying to understand how elemental binding works. Is there a cost chart? How do you know how much a base gp price is for character creating new elemental bound items? Is it treated as a cost reduction for existing magical items?

Thanks

Actually the feat does not state that it costs any XP to bind the elemental. Does this mean that binding an elemental to an object costs nothing? Does it reduce the cost of a magical item? The feat just allows you to bind something. Doesn't say that their is a game mechanic effect.

Example: Lets say I wanted to make a flaming sword. Normally it would cost 4,000 xp and 320 xp. If I bound a fire elemental into the sword would it reduce the cost at all?

you still have to pay 1/25th base price in xp and come up with a none summoned elementral remember summon monster won't work
