I ask because even though Eberron added the Kalashtar, I can't seem to find anything else in the book about psionics. I am making a seventh level PsyWar, and having an eternal dorje of body adjustment would come in handy in a party without a dedicated healer. |

You'll also find some items and shards in Magic of Eberron, Races of Eberron and Secrets of Sarlona. If you don't play a kalashtar, there's much less... Regarding the dorjes: Balance-wise, I don't see any problems, though I wonder if you are not better of learning body adjustment, and keeping the dorje for powers your Psychic Warrior doesn't have access to normally. If you've got too many other powers you'd like to learn, it's a good way to go, of course. Flavourwise, the only problem I see is that the eternal wands are presented as a fairly new idea, having appeared only late in the Last War. But that doesn't prevent Adar from having made that breakthrough hundreds of years ago. After all, they are in a constant state of war, with great scholars and limited resources, so their having developed eternal dorjes makes sense to me. An enterprising kalashtar (or your character, even) might also have built them as a reaction to the eternal wands, and your character is one of the first to get to test them. Allowing them would be a house-rule (as there is no official mention of them), but not a very radical one. I'd go with it. |
