Ok I have a quick about this Feat. I know it's probably been answered before, but a Forum Search came up nil. What I really want to know is: Can this Feat be applied to the cost of creating a Homunculous?

Thanks!

I would think so... But ask your DM!

It says in the description "...any item." Like it was mentioned, you'd have to talk to your DM. I believe this same question came up in a game I was running once. I allowed it to be used on homunculai. It seemed kinda splittin' hairs to define a bastard sword as an item and a homunculus as something else.

Especially if you consider an Intelligent Bastard Sword an item but not a Homunculus

Yeah, true. Never thought of that. So yeah, the feat should apply to Homunculi. If your DM says otherwise, kick'em in the junk.
