law 03-04-07, 12:14 AM	This one was inspired by one I found in dragon mag a while back. Made to be the mirror of it as it did darkness and shadow spell this does daylight and light spells. It costs a little more then the one its based off of and I hope the history I added is just what is needed. I hope you like this one. Goblet of Silver Light This goblet gives the ability to use daylight and strengthen then light spells cast from the user. Lore: A half dozen of the goblets where said to be made by Lennor caster of light before he mysteriously disappeared (Knowledge [history] DC 15). Lennor was a well known were-tiger that fallowed the silver flame before the great cleansing. It is said that his disappearance was from a silver flame attack on his residence (Knowledge [history] DC 25) Description: Each goblet appears to be made of clear crystal intricacy carved with strange fluid patterns and cloaked angels. Despite its appearance, a goblet of solver light weighs as much as an iron stein of the same size. Goblets of silver light are always slightly warm to the touch and always cast dark shadows no matter the light. Activation: Each goblet has a command word carved onto its bottom. Most of these are not recorded anywhere else. Five times per day, a goblet of silver light can be filled with liquid and the command word spoken, turning the liquid into liquid light. If left in the goblet, the liquid light lasts 10 rounds before evaporating. This liquid light can be used as described below. Effect: The liquid light can be poured on the ground, in which case it creates a 60-radius of daylight and a dim light for an additional 60 feet beyond that like the daylight spell as though cast by a 5th-level caster. Additionally, the liquid light can be imbibed. The imbiber adds +2 to the DC of his evocation [light] spells for 3 hours. Aura/Caster Level: Faint evocation. CL 5. Construction: Requires Craft Wondrous Item, Spell Focus (evocation), daylight, 5,000 gp, 400 XP, 10 days Weight: 1 lb. Price: 10,000 gp

mightyix 03-13-07, 04:19 PM	I'd actually make it light a "heighten" metamagic rod increasing the caster level by 2, which still increases the save DC by 2, but allows spells like daylight to trounce deeper darkness. Dunno what the cost impact of that would be.
law 03-14-07, 02:17 AM	mightyix that would probly add another 3,000-5,000 to the price though I could just be kidding myself. Though you could say the item is usless as some else will most likely say soon. But we cant have every effect in an item that we want and the DC increase is for all light spells (spell with light in there type line like certon spells other then the light spell itself). But to each his own.
