| Soyokaze08-29-07, 02:29 PM | I understand how it works for a wand, you pay for the XP cost of the spell up front (IE: XP cost x50) However, this factor is not mentioned under either eternal wand or shema. So, say I want to make a shema of "persistence" so that I can dependably make 1 spell per day persistent, what's the extra XP cost for making the item due to the spell's XP cost? x1? x50 like wands? pay every time you cast? |

| hbomb08-29-07, 03:07 PM | I think it is in the back of the ECS (am at work, books at home) but I think the creator of the wand or schema pays the XP cost like any other wand, and I think the cost is the same as a 50 charge wand to make a 2x per day wand. Not 100%, it has been a few months since I have played. |

Spells or infusions with a costly material component, a costly focus, or an XP cost cannot be stored in a minor schema. Eternal Wand ECS, page 225. An eternal wand holds an arcane spell of 3rd level or lower with a maximum caster level of 6. Sounds like your item isn't possible. |
