The Cult of the Star Lord
Domains: Fire, Shadow, Life, Lung Dragon(Dr 30th Anniversary Issue)
Symbol: A celestial dragon (OA)
F. Weapon: Morningstar

Followers of the SH think the Star Lord is just a combination of Onatar and The Shadow. Followers of the Star Lord think they (SH followers) are crazy.

How these could fit into a campaign besides just being in Sharn, I'd like to know. Also, any thought on expanding it please. (This was created for a character who wanted the Shadow and Fire domains without being a philosophical type.)

Not familiar with what the Star Lord even is.

Okay. I'll completely revamp what this was supposed to be.

The Cult of the Star Lord
Typical Alignment: Neutral
Domains: Fire, Shadow, Life, Lung Dragon(Dr 30th Anniversary Issue)
Symbol: A celestial dragon (OA)
F. Weapon: Morningstar

Followers of the Soverign Host think the Star Lord is just a combination of Onatar and The Shadow. Followers of the Star Lord think the Soveriegn Host followers are crazy.

This cult belives that all humanoids came from the stars, or were created by the Starmen from giants, becoming a much more advanced race that the "heathenistic" giants enslaved because these giants were jealous of the new races.

They belive that the Star Lord himself took came down with a fleet of dragons that were superior to the other dragons, dragons that were the equals of Syberis and Eberron, and superior to Khyber (some sects swap Khyber and Syberis, but all treat Eberron as a good wyrm).

They say that stars are burning balls of fire, small gates to Fernia. They say that the darkness of shadows are the powers of night given to all life, and thay humanoid shadows are from the star lord himself.

However, their cult is rather small, with only eleven dozen members, eight dozen of those in Sharn, and two dozen in Stormreach.

If anyone has any comments on this, or perhaps a suggestion or two on different sects, I'd be much obliged.

This was created for a player who wanted the Fire and Shadow domains without being philosophical or a Soverign Hoster. She made all of the artwork (which she keeps not giving to me), and I, unbeknownst to her, will keep relating this to another new cult in my campaign, the cult of the unspeakable due to fear of copyright infringement.

Cult of the Unspeakable Due to Fear of Copyright Infringement
AL: CG (Yet surprisingly Lawful...)
Domains: Chaos, Charity, Good, Travel
Symbol: A clown or mime -like puppet, normally holding a stringed instrument of a sort.

Wow... they are crazy. Although the words form coherent sentences, there seems to be no real connection to reality. the Giants only enslaved the Elves. Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Halflings, Orcs, and all other races had limited or no contact with them. On what is their belief that stars are pathways to Fernia even remotely based? I mean I know it's a faith, and as such, you can hold some beliefs even in the absence of evidence, but there should at least be a LITTLE bit of evidence on which to base it.

The cult even flies in the face of the Progenitor Dragon myth, which is generally accepted by all other religions in Eberron.

If I had a PC with such beliefs in my game, EVERYONE would think they were crazy, especially for suggesting this Star Lord is equal to or greater than Eberron/Syberis/Khyber.

For a better idea of how to handle their faith and beliefs, so as to be more agreeable with Eberron's other themes and concepts, what kind of character is your player playing?
