Everything, specially the way they described so detailed and cool and completelly two planes: the nine hells and the Abyss. And the fact that they gave so much dept to their inhabitants while giving you so many ways of including such cool information in the adventures. But there are no nine hells nor abyss in Eberron's cosmos. In fact, eberron's outer planes are just barely described. Can you name an interplanar city? So then I thought "hey, I can make something about that". So here I am. trying to create a fiendish codex III: creatures of Risia. I'm begging by colecting ideas from you my dear members of the message boards comunnity. I would like you to post any idea you have for a paragon of Risia (that is, ideas for Risia's Mammon or Juiblex). Describe them as you wish, include whatever you want including your view about the plane (which is an uneludable topic here) and your ideas about ways in which risia can mean something in an eberronian adventure. Also, you can talk about other people's ideas, so that we can make them better. My first creation is pretty much a no-brainer. I call her Fliereta (queen in risian). She is the mother and ruler of the surface Gelugons that "rule" a big portion of the surface of the Infinite Glacier: the Mountains of Parrg. Fliereta is a colossal insect covered in white-blue plattings that can paralize creatures with her gaze but who can't move without the aid of her offspring. She can birth many Gelugons (young ones) in an instant at will, but those would be empty shells that share her mind and that would ultimatelly vanish in a day or two. To give birth to a true Gelugon, Fliereta mush consume living beings and wait a year. The amount needed for a single Ice devil depends on the similarity of the beings devoured with the gelugons and their HD. Therefore, Fliereta asks for sacrifices and the sacrifice of outsiders is more valued than the sacrifice of mortals. The sacrifice of lawful or evil outsiders is even more valued and Gelugons that betray her are usually used as raw material of a new risian fiend. For this reasons, gelugons are very interested on material plane beings that can give them devils, demons or formians for their sacrifices. And gelugons might have a competition similar to the soul-harvesting in their own plane, looking to gain favors an rising in rank. More from me as soon as I get a response here.:P
