Quori Embedded Shard - Power Repository [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-22-07, 08:20 PM Here's a simple question. Can a telepath use an embedded Power Repository that contains a power normally limited to a psion with a different specialized discipline? I know that any character can gain the use of powers from any list by the use of Expanded Knowledge feat. Is there a ruling on the Power Repository? Please REFERENCE any responses!

07-01-07, 11:15 PM That being said, you could make a Use Psionic Device check to mimic the ability to choose powers from a specific (and different) list. Considering that the original power is not tied to the shard besides being initially present (you can swap a third power in, for instance), you'd only need to make a single check.

(Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I was trying to find some quori embedded shards that weren't in the ECS or MoE. Apparently none exist.)
