A Schema is a magical item, usually made of an object like a stone block, metal rod, ivory, etc, into which runes and sigils are inscribed and carved. If properly used, it can produce spell effects. In many ways, it's similar to a Scroll or Wand. The main differences are that Schemas never lose their magical charge, don't count as divine or arcane, and have no minimum spellcaster requirement, but can only be used once a day.
