| heirodule06-05-07, 03:06 PM | Keith sez: "If a character earns the respect of the shulassakar, they can be valuable allies. Aside from the vast knowledge they possess, they have access to treasures from the Age of Dragons and the wisdom of the couatl." Any thoughts on interesting plots surrounding "treasures from the age of dragons" (mythic time!) or the wisdom of the couatl? I'm using a shulasskar transcendent paladin as a foil, and want to impress/scare the PCs, and maybe get a boon of that sort from him if they play their cards right. |

If it's plot ideas, give a little more info on the relevant story and characters. If it's treasure, classes, whatever....specify. I just couldn't pin down your need. I'm happy to help, if able, though.:D |

As far as the latter is concerned, the Shulassakar are pretty much the only source I could come up with for the Feathered Servant prestige class. |
| Belabras06-05-07, 10:06 PM | They are also one of the few sources of Psionic knowledge outside of the Kalashtar and the Dreaming Dark, knowledge that predates both groups. It would be entirely possible that the only place to train in the Warmind PRC is with friendly Shulassakar, or that they are the only source of some of the more exotic Psi items. |
| Psionycx06-05-07, 10:32 PM | Shulasskar would be prime candidates to have access to abilities and classes from the Book of Exalted Deeds. From what I've seen, Exalted feats, spells and PrC's are pretty uncommon in Eberron so this would be a good chance to introduce a race wherein they are widespread, perhaps leaving the PC's as impressed (and eager to learn) by these holy abilities as many are by the psionics of the kalashtar. Speaking of psionics, some touches from the Complete Psionic might come into play with the Shulasskar as well, such as the Ardent and/or Divine Mind classes or the Illumine Soul PrC. Some of these might be somewhat surprising permutations of psionics even to kalashtar, who are more typically psions or soulknives. |

In the story we played featuring Couatls, content from the BoED was featured. It seemed a good chance to introduce some "rarely seen in Eberron", pure, unadulterated holiness. The Shulassakar, by extention, should do the same. |
